Lynn Fitch, the Only Choice for Mississippi Attorney General

(WASHINGTON) – Republican voters in Mississippi nominated conservative Lynn Fitch to be the Magnolia State’s next attorney general. Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) Chairman and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton released the following statement, congratulating Lynn Fitch on tonight’s Republican runoff election victory.

“Lynn Fitch has proven to be a conservative leader during her tenure as State Treasurer and has the experience to hit the ground running on day one. As Mississippi’s next Attorney General, Fitch will be a strong ally to law enforcement, helping them fight the opioid epidemic, illegal immigration, and fraud and abuse. RAGA is fully committed to ensuring Lynn Fitch is Mississippi’s first Republican attorney general since 1878.

“Lynn Fitch’s opponent is a liberal whose agenda includes support for sanctuary city policies. Mississippians will have a clear choice between Lynn Fitch, who has worked with law enforcement and President Trump, and her opponent, who has opposed commonsense laws, like one that would have imposed tougher penalties on criminals who attack police.”
