The Kentucky Freedom Fund today began airing a new television ad highlighting the outpouring of law enforcement support across the Commonwealth for conservative Republican Daniel Cameron. Current and former law enforcement officials in the ad, “Law Enforcement,” declare that Daniel Cameron’s strong leadership skills and partnerships well equip him to tackle Kentucky’s opioid crisis, decrease violent crime, and make Kentucky safer.

“Daniel Cameron is the only candidate for Attorney General who will enforce Kentucky’s laws and not allow violent criminals loose on the streets,” said RAGA Executive Director Adam Piper. “In fact, he is the only candidate endorsed by the Fraternal Order of Police and has the trust of law enforcement officers across the Commonwealth. Cameron is dedicated to enforcing the rule of law and making communities safer, unlike Democrat Greg Stumbo who supports sanctuary policies allowing illegal immigrants to get drivers’ licenses and lenient prison sentences for drug dealers exacerbating the opioid crisis. Voters in Kentucky should vote for Daniel Cameron, who has the support of law enforcement and will work diligently to keep Kentuckians safe.”

This is Kentucky Freedom Fund’s second ad as part of RAGA’s previously announced $3.25 million television buy and will run in all media markets containing Kentucky voters.

The ad script is as follows:

Daniel Cameron absolutely has the integrity to be the Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Daniel’s actually taken the time to find out what law enforcement officers in the Commonwealth of Kentucky need to do their job effectively.

I believe Daniel Cameron can lead the charge in helping our communities find solutions for Kentucky’s opioid crisis.

He has the commitment and the knowledge to help make our state a safer place to live.

Daniel Cameron has my vote because I believe he means what he says. He is going to step up and be a leader for all of Kentucky.
