Attorney General Landry was sworn in on Monday to a second term as Louisiana’s top law enforcement officer.

In a tweet, Attorney General Landry expressed his gratitude to the people of Louisiana, “Today, with my wife by my side, I took the oath of office to serve another term as your Attorney General. It is an honor and a privilege! In this second term – I will continue to do all that I can to protect our families, our freedoms, and the rule of law.”

Louisiana voters soundly re-elected Attorney General Landry to another four years in office on October 12, 2019. Landry trounced his opponent by 33 points in the primary, avoiding a run-off election in November. Attorney General Landry’s massive victory is attributable to his proven record of protecting Louisianans with pre-existing conditions, working closely with law enforcement, and fighting the opioid epidemic.

Monday proved to be an extremely successful day for AG Landry, as the LSU Tigers clutched the National Championship title at home in New Orleans.

The RAGA 2020 leadership team includes Chairman Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry and Vice-Chairman Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr. RAGA is focused on defending five incumbent races and expanding the majority of Republican AGs across the country. Republican AGs better preserve, promote, and protect the rule of law and keep Americans safe.
