Position Title: Deputy Political Director
Organization: Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA)

Location: Washington, D.C. (in-office)
Position Summary
The Deputy Political Director will serve as a key member of RAGA’s political team, supporting efforts to elect Republican Attorneys General nationwide. This position will assist in the development and execution of political strategy, oversee aspects of candidate support, and manage relationships with campaigns and vendors. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in campaign operations, and comfortable balancing multiple high-stakes priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the 2026 Attorney General races, including candidate activity, polling, and opposition research.
- Track spending across races and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned candidates and campaign staff.
- Maintain and update calendars of primary and convention dates.
- Draft and develop political messaging in support of RAGA-backed candidates.
- Manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for political vendors.
- Assist in building and coordinating vendor teams for priority races.
- Support candidate recruitment, campaign strategy sessions, and political meetings.
- Travel as needed for candidate events, recruitment efforts, and RAGA political meetings.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of 2–4 years of political campaign experience (statewide, congressional, or national level).
- Strong understanding of campaign strategy, field operations, and political communications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure political environment.
- Based in Washington, D.C. with the ability to work full-time from the RAGA office.
Preferred:
- Experience with Independent Expenditure (IE) campaigns and compliance requirements.
- Previous work with political committees, associations, or national campaign organizations.
- Vendor management or procurement experience.
