Constitutional attorney Matthew DePerno was selected today by Michigan GOP delegates to be the Republican nominee for Michigan Attorney General. DePerno will face incumbent liberal Democrat Attorney General Dana Nessel who has used the Michigan Attorney General’s Office to advance Joe Biden’s destructive policies and rubber stamp Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s liberal agenda.
“Dana Nessel sued President Trump every chance she could yet has defended Joe Biden’s disastrous policies that have limited individual freedom, increased energy costs, and contributed directly to record inflation,” said RAGA Executive Director Peter Bisbee. “Michigan voters want as their AG an experienced litigator who is not afraid to take on the fight against the unconstitutional actions coming out of Washington, D.C. Matthew DePerno is ready to take on the administrative state and defend the rule of law.”
“The last four years of governance in Michigan have been disastrous and Dana Nessel has been on the wrong side of every issue, from overbearing COVID mandates to record crime to parental rights,” said RAGA Political Director Nick Weinstein. “Michigan GOP delegates have spoken and they want to send a fighter to Lansing.
