WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) elected today its new leadership team, which will guide the organization for 2026, the largest election cycle in the organization’s history.

Republican Attorneys General unanimously elected Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen as Chairman and Nebraska Attorney General Mike Hilgers as Vice Chairman.

Both Knudsen and Hilgers previously served on the organization’s executive committee, with Knudsen having served for numerous years as the organization’s Policy Chairman. Prior to their election as state attorneys general, both Knudsen and Hilgers served as Speakers of their respective state legislatures and have vast professional and political accomplishments.

“RAGA is poised for record success in 2026 with Chairman Knudsen and Vice Chairman Hilgers from a fundraising, policy, and political perspective. Republican Attorneys General are more important today than ever before, and we look forward to ensuring RAGA is positioned to welcome a record-breaking freshman class in November of 2026,” said RAGA Executive Director Adam Piper.
