WASHINGTON- The Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) extends its deepest gratitude to Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares for his dedicated service and tireless efforts to uphold law and order over the last four years.

“Jason Miyares ran his campaign the same way he runs his office – with integrity and effective leadership,” said Kansas Attorney General and RAGA Chairman Kris Kobach. “We have no doubt that this is not the last chapter for Jason Miyares’ service to Virginians and his promotion of American exceptionalism.”

“RAGA went all in for Jason Miyares, and we significantly outperformed the top of the ticket despite the harshest of political headwinds, from the federal government shutdown to Don Scott’s sham special session to change the narrative last week,” said RAGA Executive Director Adam Piper. “Unfortunately, Virginia voters decided to put partisanship above principle. Tonight, we continue to call on Democrat AGs to join us in efforts to tone down the rhetoric of Jay Jones echoed by assassins who killed Charlie Kirk and a Minnesota Speaker who dared to work with Republicans. We hope Jay Jones realizes he must work with law enforcement and take strides throughout his transition to keep in place the programs Jason Miyares set up that made Virginia a safer place to live, work, and raise a family.”
