The Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) today announced Adam Piper will be the organization’s new Executive Director. Piper, a seasoned campaign veteran, previously led RAGA as both Executive Director and as President of its policy arm. As RAGA Executive Director, Piper helped the organization go 3-0 in 2019, picking up two seats. He also set fundraising records and spearheaded Republican Attorneys General efforts to assist the first Trump Administration on the policy front.

“The Republican AGs are grateful Adam Piper answered the call to service once again to steer RAGA,” said RAGA Chairman and Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach. “Earlier this week, my colleagues and I unanimously voted to confirm Adam as RAGA Executive Director after an extensive search process because we know he will bring the skills needed to lead RAGA’s efforts to retain Virginia this fall and flip targeted seats from blue to red in 2026. Adam’s political, policy, and private sector experience coupled with his energy and vision has Republican Attorneys General excited about the future. I look forward to working with Adam and the entire RAGA team throughout my tenure as RAGA Chairman to continue to position Republican AGs as the most effective group of elected officials at upholding the Constitution and helping President Trump restore law and order throughout the nation.”

Piper is a Virginia native and veteran of South Carolina politics where he served as a Chief of Staff in the attorney general’s office and has experience working with U.S. Senator Tim Scott, Governor Henry McMaster, Attorney General Alan Wilson, and former Governor David Beasley. Piper is a previous Vice Chairman of the South Carolina Republican Party and was South Carolina Director for the Presidential campaign of former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee in 2008. He is a 2006 graduate of the University of South Carolina, where he presently serves on the Board of Governors for the University’s Alumni Association.

“I’m grateful for Chairman Kobach’s leadership and for the trust and confidence of Republican attorneys general. It is my great honor to return to RAGA and once again lead this incredible organization of the best elected officials in the country. Today, Republican AGs are the foundation of the future that served as freedom’s front line during President Trump’s history-making first term and as the last line of defense during Joe Biden’s disastrous tenure as President,” said RAGA Executive Director Adam Piper. “Over the next four years, President Trump will have no greater champions than Republican AGs. I am grateful to play a part in the America First revival our nation is undergoing. I am grateful to our nation’s Republican AGs for entrusting me with this important duty and look forward to continuing to expand the number of Americans represented by Republican AGs.”
