It’s been five days since National Girls & Women in Sports Day and the two Democrat candidates for Virginia Attorney General have been silent about honoring new federal directives on Title IX and banning biological boys from competing against girls.

Jay Jones and Shannon Taylor’s conspicuous absence from the conversation about protecting young women is telling, even as the NCAA and other athletic organizations change their policies to prevent men from competing in women’s sports.

“Would Jay Jones and Shannon Taylor risk millions in federal funding for Virginia to defend their party’s extreme ideology?” asked RAGA Executive Director Adam Piper. “And more importantly, do Jay Jones and Shannon Taylor want men in girls’ locker rooms? Virginians deserve an answer from Jones and Taylor on this important topic that has endangered young women.”
