Florida Attorney General (AG) Ashley Moody easily won reelection today, beating her Democrat opponent with a double-digit margin of victory. Moody, who was first elected in 2018, is a member of the Republican Attorneys General Association Executive Committee.

“Whether she’s fighting the flow of fentanyl, human trafficking, or illegal immigration, AG Moody commands respect from her attorney general colleagues and Florida law enforcement leaders,” said RAGA Chairman South Carolina AG Alan Wilson. “Most recently, AG Moody displayed her leadership for the entire country when Hurricane Ian devastated southwest Florida and AG Moody provided critical public safety and consumer protection resources to the citizens of her state.”

“AG Moody has been the leader of many crucial Republican legal battles against the Biden Administration, including vaccine mandates and illegal immigration,” said RAGA Executive Director Peter Bisbee. “Florida can always count on AG Moody to push back against overbearing mandates from the federal government and uphold the Constitutions of Florida and the United States. Her allegiance to the rule of law is well known in Florida and throughout the nation.”
