Former Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach has been elected Kansas Attorney General (AG).

“Kris Kobach’s career has been marked by distinguished service as clerk to a federal appeals court judge, counsel to the United States Attorney General, and Kansas Secretary of State,” said RAGA Chairman AG Alan Wilson. “I am confident that he will continue serving with distinction and instantly become a leader among Republican AGs, especially in pushing back against the federal government when it oversteps its authority.”

“AG-Elect Kobach is a defender of the Constitution and the leader we need in Kansas,” said RAGA Executive Director Peter Bisbee. “AG-elect Kobach has been using his legal expertise to challenge the Biden Administration’s unconstitutional mandates regarding vaccine mandates, religious liberty, and illegal immigration. This is exactly the type of experience that will bolster existing efforts by Republican AGs to defend the Constitution and rule of law.”
