WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) today showcased an ad from its affiliated group, Safer Wisconsin Fund, committed to electing conservative attorneys general and a safer Wisconsin.

“Wisconsin needs an attorney general who will fight crime and make Wisconsin a safer place to live, work, and raise a family. Eric Toney is a proven prosecutor and law enforcement leader who will make Wisconsin safer,” said RAGA Executive Director Adam Piper.

Wisconsin’s crime lab had 7,000 untested rape kits, with many sitting on shelves for years. Kaul secured convictions for only 1% of victims, leaving thousands of sexual predators roaming the streets and victims left without justice. Clearly, keeping Wisconsin safe isn’t top of mind for Kaul.

Eric Toney has built a tough-on-crime record as Fond du Lac County District Attorney, prosecuting murderers, drug traffickers, human traffickers, sexual predators, and other violent criminals. He has made combating fentanyl a priority, securing homicide convictions in overdose cases and holding dealers accountable for deadly drugs. Toney also helped launch Fond du Lac County’s first Drug Court and has fought to strengthen Wisconsin’s criminal justice system, earning recognition as Wisconsin’s 2024 District Attorney of the Year.

This ad comes from RAGA’s nearly $7 million political spend across 13 states, launching an aggressive early offensive barrage to defend Republican attorneys general and flip Democrat-held offices across the country.

The initial spend is phase one of RAGA’s fall campaign and began immediately with a mix of digital and television advertising.

The spend supports Republican AGs in Iowa, Kansas, Georgia, Ohio, Florida, Texas, and AG nominees in Arizona, Colorado, Minnesota, Michigan, Nevada, New York, and Wisconsin.
