Alabama Attorney General (AG) Steve Marshall cruised to reelection after trouncing his Democrat opponent today. Marshall, a former state prosecutor, was originally appointed Alabama AG in 2017 and was elected to a full four-year term in 2018.

“Steve Marshall is not only a great AG, but over the last four years, he’s become a good friend and colleague I trust to help hold the line against the tyrannical actions of the Biden Administration,” said RAGA Chairman and South Carolina AG Alan Wilson. “AG Marshall always acts in the best interest of the people of Alabama, whether that’s defending life, protecting parental rights over their children’s education, or fighting back against the open border policies that are fueling our drug and crime crises.”

“Liberal Democrats from Washington, D.C. constantly promote a radical agenda that’s out of touch with the vast majority of the American people and AG Marshall always fights to defend Constitutional principles, religious liberty, and limited government,” said RAGA Executive Director Peter Bisbee. “Enforcing the rule of law is at the center of AG Marshall’s decision making, and his consistent track record of protecting Alabama from federal overreach and progressive criminal justice policies has rightly earned him the support of voters once again.”
