President Biden today announced his intent to seek reelection in 2024, promising to “finish the job,” after presiding over more than two years of the most radical and sweeping changes of any administration in American history. Biden’s first term in office has been marked by remarkable failures, like rampant inflation, rising crime, unprecedented government expansion that would make Obama blush, and a lawless southern border allowing illegal immigration and drugs to flow freely into the United States.
Republican Attorneys General Association Chairman and Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall released the following statement in response to Biden’s announcement.
“Since Biden’s first day in Office, he has prioritized the harassment of conservative states like Alabama—attempting to bully us into submission on issues like crime, gender, abortion, industry and the environment, and education. Though Republican attorneys general relish these fights and are proud of our many victories, 2024 can’t get here soon enough.”
